Trying to build a computer

I want to spend around 1000 on a desktop computer and a friend said i should build one and he gave me this wish list

I want to know if that would be fast and good for playing most games with max settings.
It also costs a bit over what i was hoping to spend but really quality is more important to me. can anyone make any suggestions on what i could change to make it better or maybe just a little cheaper. also is this all i need for a computer? i have never built one or really have any knowledge what all the stuff does. Thanks!

looks liek a good build to me...

only thing, dont use a WD green drive, those are for storage, not for operating system of games, get a Caviar Black as your main hard drive
