I'm not sure if this should go here, but

I have an old p3 with tons of mp3's on it. Is there an easy way to transfer these to my new computer?

My old computer does have a USB port. Can I connect the 2 computers together? or would I have to get a router and hook them up that way?

Any other ideas?

I usually just connect my two computers to a router and transfer through AIM.

I bought a 4 gig flashdrive for 70 bucks on ebay, that is more then enough to transfer Mp3's across computers. That way anytime you need to transfer files from computer to computer its as easy as plugging in your flashdrive and transfering. Good luck to you!

its very easy , just open the case and get the hd out and temporarly connect it to the new pc , and in bios set the boot order right so it wont boot from that old hd , and then windows will detect it and youll be able to access all of its partitions from "my computer" and just copy the data.. and when done power off and disconnect it and put back to the old pc
