Trading up...

Okay, so I might trade my computer (or some of it) for a Acer Laptop... I don't really need to know if it's a fair trade, I'm swapping my good parts for less-good ones since the laptop isn't that powerful (yet ). I just need to ask a few things...

I want to keep my good Antec PSU, so I might swap it for a 300W generic one... Will a 300W generic PSU run:

Athlon 64 3500+ / Gigabyte motherboard
Two 20GB Hard drives
One Optical CD-RW Drive
Generic S3Virge Video Card

Why would you want to swap your Antec for a generic PSU? 300W should run that system btw.

Because I'm trading it to someone else, and since I'm removing a lot of the [good] parts, I think a high quality 450W PSU is overkill...
