total newbie, what tools to buy for building first PC?

replace beer with rum and coke. Also i tend to keep papertowels close as you never know when part of the machine is going to bite you. Bloody computer parts arent cool.
Duct tape
screw driver
alcohol wipes (sub in 90% iso alcohol and coffee filters)
paper towels
your favorite booze
needlenose pliers

Thats pretty much the extent of what i have ever needed, and i take my machine apart quite often.

Duct tape fixes everything eh?

Most i've used is:

Philips screwdriver
needle nose pliers
bottle of isopropyl alcohol
coffee filters
Canned air.

he's probably going to end up drunk and rowdy while building a computer

yeah i may want to tackle my first one sober...though waking up the next morning and having the pc done and not remembering it would be cool

I use the duct tape to tape the heatsink screws to the screwdriver so i cant attach the TRUE without removing the motherboard.
