So what it did is turn a PCI slot into a small PCI-e 1X slot? That's pretty cool.

Yep... it's good for those proprietary's like Dell, HP, Budget's, etc... that don't have anything in them. Same with the HIS PCIe 1x slot card.

If someone has a dell with no AGP or PCIe slot (which most older machines have) then this is for them. To the majority of people (at least the ones I know) to them, a computer is just a machine. As I have been told... "Only a freak like me would treat his computer better than his kid!" LOL So they would like to upgrade, but don't want to spend the money...

Speaking of kids... Anyone need some slave labor??? but I will charge extra for windows!!!!
