not to push you into building your own, but its like a square peg in a square hole, not the round hole, and screwing in screws. Its extremely easy to do and if something doesn't fit quite right, there's probably a reason it doesn't fit quite right.

also it's our job to let you know about the options you have, but not to push anything on you one way or another, so don't feel pressured to build your own if you aren't comfortable with it.

A notice to EVERYONE who has posted here with a computer problem, I highly encourage you to keep current with the forums, even if it's browsing for 10-15 minutes during lunch, or before you go to bed at night. There are many things that you can learn and apply to future issues. My goal is to help people get to a point where they can use their own knowledge to help themselves, and others.

Also please use the search button. You've got a 50/50 chance that someone's asked your question and we've answered it.

Got any place near you where you can pick the parts you want and have them build it for you?

If it was me, I'd take the first pc (amd phenom cpu) for $700 instead of the second one and mainly change the vid card.
It's a better option than buying the intel cpu going by the stats you posted for each, the AMD looks like a way better deal.
You'd still need to get new vid card for each, xtra 500 gig sata2 with amd, sell the blu if needed to get new vid card, amd has good audio as well.
