Hi.
I want to get an Nvidia6800(non GT) to improve performance in gaming.
My specs:
250W PSU
533 FSB mobo
P4 2.4GHz (512kb) CPU
Nvidia 5500 OC
768mb PC2100 ram (256x1)(512x1)
40gb 7,200 rpm WesternDigital HDD
Samsung DVD-rom
Samsung CD-r/rw
Network card
Audigy sound card
Im worried that I might not have a powerfull enough PSU to power the 6800. What do you think? I dont think I can upgrade my PSU because I have a Dell 4500 which has proprietary sockets on the mobo but I do recall reading something about a adapter. If I dont have the power to power it would other cards can I run that are good?6600gt maybe?
