Staples has a 200gb SATA HD (Maxtor) for $70. No rebates, free shipping.

That sounds too good to be true. Gotta be a catch.

Quick question: On newegg, what's the diff. between retail and OEM hard drives, I read somewhere that OEM doesn't come with cables or anything? Anyone order a hard drive off newegg before?

I'd recommend a raid zero by getting the same drive you already have but i'm not a Maxtor fan. Between WD and seagate, i'd go seagate.

OEM basically means the drive is all you'll get. basically you'll get the hdd in an anti-static bag and nothing else. same with dvd-drives etc.

there is no reason why not to get OEM. its cheaper and all you need is the hdd anyway.
