Default These two video cards have got me confused

Both of these cards are 5870 cards by XFX, but one is XXX edition, and the other's not. I'm trying to figure out which one will provide higher performance.

Here are the differences in the specifications that I can pick out:

5870 XXX Edition:
GPU Radeon HD 5870 (Cypress XT)
Core Clock 875MHz
Effective Memory Clock 1250MHz (5.0Gbps)

5870:
GPU Radeon HD 5870
Core Clock 850MHz
Effective Memory Clock 4800MHz

Without any outside help, aka you overclocking, the XXX version is faster. But by 25MHz.

Generally its said to just by the cheaper one, and overclock it for free.

yea, save yourself $30 and get the regular one, you can OC its core and memory clocks to the same speeds as the xxx version.

But what about the memory clock? The normal one is almost 4x faster than the XXX version

Lol, no. It's deceiving how they've written it.
