Taking Off Thermal Pad??

Hey,

I'm looking to get a AMD CPU that comes w/ heatsink. I was told that it comes w/ a thermal pad on the HS and that I should take it off and replace it w/ thermal grease. I ordered ARCTIC SILVER 5. So my question is......

How do you get off the thermal pad? What's the best way? Is it easy to do?

Honestly, it's the most amazing stuff ever. A few drops and the TIM just breaks down and comes off in a few seconds. Then you use the surface purifier and clean off the residue. Totally clean in under a minute.

I've used Rubbing Alcohol, but sometimes it takes forever....
