Default t4200 v AMD V120

Hi there,

I was wondering which computer you guys think would be better for adobe cs5. I know niether one is ideal, but with my budget I either have my laptop or my fiance's laptop. I won't be doing too intense design, moslty drawing vector images and playing with indesign.

I used to keep up with all this back when 2gb was a lot of ram! haha

I used to build all my computers but have since sold out and just bought off the shelve the past years trying to finish school. ( I've been on the 7 year college plan)

But all in all I am helping a buddy with some design for his new business and just want to know what yall think is the best setup

I have a HP G60 series thats a year old or more and she has a new Acer something?

Both have 250bg hard drives (5400rpm), 15.6 widscreen, mine has 4gb ddr2 and hers I think 2gb ddr3 (but was thinking of upgrading to 4gb dd3 if it was worth it)

Hers is single core, yours is dual. Yours uses 10w more power, and she has less ram.

Yours would be faster at crunching numbers, and better with multitasking.
I can say with 100% certainty that yours will perform better in Adobe, but, if you're not doing anything really intensive it wouldn't make much difference.
