System Upgrade

Hey guys. I was an old member here and coming back for suggestions/help

I'm currently planning on upgrading my old rig and have a question regarding the case/motherboard compatibility

I have the ASUS P5B Deluxe mobo (LGA 775 socket) and the Thermaltake Armor case (Newegg.com - Thermaltake Armor Series VA8003BWS Black Full Tower Case w/ 25CM Fan)


I would like to upgrade my CPU, Mobo, and to a liquid cooled system (basic).

Currently, I am looking at the following upgrades:

Intel i7 2700
ASUS P8Z77-V LK LGA 1155 (ASUS P8Z77-V LK LGA 1155 Z77 ATX Intel Motherboard 643346 - Micro Center)

My question is, do you think this motherboard will fit into my existing case?

Lol I remember those old Armor cases. I used to want one till I got so used to my Scorpio.

Anyways, yea that board will fit in the case. I would get the 3570k instead of the 2700 though, and you will need new RAM.
