switch from ati radeon x300 to msi geforce 6200

i was wondering what i need to install (drivers) wise to have a successful swap. i have my evga 7800gt cd (i believe has nvidia drivers) but i wouldnt want to have a evga program on my friends comp if he has a msi card.... should i downloard the new drivers before or after i install the card, and any suggestions on what/ and where do download them. thanks

Download a driver cleaner to clean out the ATI drivers or you will run into issues. The best result when converting from ATI to Nvidia and vice versa is to reload the o/s
