Default Stupid memory question

My buddy bought an Intel DH55HC motherboard and is looking for some compatible memory. I haven't been keeping up and I just don't know what to tell him.

He has an i5 processor and is not interested in gaming.

Please help...

Thanks,
Hercules

Default Re: Stupid memory question

Here is what the intel site says when I did a quick google search.

Four 240-pin DDR3 SDRAM Dual Inline Memory Module (DIMM) sockets
Support for DDR3 1333 /1066 MHz DIMMs
Support for up to 16 GB of system memory

So something like this should work.
Newegg.com - CORSAIR XMS3 DHX 4GB (2 x 2GB) 240-Pin DDR3 SDRAM DDR3 1333 (PC3 10666) Dual Channel Kit Desktop Memory Model TW3X4G1333C9DHX
This is what I am using and it works well and newegg actually has it on sale for about 15$ cheaper than when I got mine.
