SSD memory problem

Alright so, i bought a 90gb ocz vertex SSD and everything is running so smoothly and lightning fast, but only one problem.. Ive put my OS on this SSD, which takes up 12 GB's and now its saying i have 47 GB's free. If you do the math.. that means if i deleted the OS, i'd only have 59 GBs.. where is the other 30 Gbs i paid for? i mean, theres no way it can all be locked up in hidden files used to power the SSD.. any help?

Have you gone through the SSD Tweak guide here? Odds are a lot of that space if being taken up by things associated with the OS but not the OS itself.

Shadow copies, system restore points, pagefile, temp files, among all the program installs, their app data and profile data.

There is much more than just Windows taking up the space.
