I am going to buy an SSD tomorrow. Im trying to get a good one at a good price.

I was thinking of either the Samsung 850 EVO 250 GB or the Crucial MX300.

Are they the same or is one better than the other? Please help..

Of course it is the same, it's a pure electronics. (Non-mechanical product).

Samsung 850 Evo uses Samsung's V-Nand and their own controller, Crucial uses Micron. The Samsung is faster in both sequential and IOPS. The Samsung is tested up to 500TB written, the Crucial 220TB (although I'd put money both go well into the PB area). The Samsung also has a longer warranty.

I'm thinking of now getting a 1TB and just using that as my main drive without an HDD. Is that something I should do or not?
