Default Speakers

I know this should be in the Audio section, but I am asking a fair "upgrade" from my cheapo "multimedia speakers".

This will be going on my Linux system, Maginifico, in my sig. As the above describes, I need new speakers.

Here are my priorities:

-Cheap, but good qualty, let's just put it at $20-30 max. I will push it if necessary.
-2.0 would be fine. If it is 2.1, I want a small subwoofer footprint. Gets crowded down there quick with 2 cases, a NAS box and subwoofer.
-I love Logitech! Willing to look elsewhere.

But when you have z-4 speakers, a previous x-530 (gave to my dad), 3x 350m mice, K250 and K340 keyboards, and G330 headset, you aughta be crazy.

I'm not an audiophile by far.

I use these:
Walmart.com: Altec Lansing 2.1 Speaker System, BX1221 - Black: Computers
They've been working well for me, and the subwoofer is quite small.

Please read through the thread thoroughly before responding.

Yeah, I've been looking on that too. It looks weird. But I'm like that. :P

Same price at Amazon. Might get something else there, so I'm eligible for FREE Super Saver Shipping on orders over $25.

Anyone else?

I think my cousin had the same set (the altecs). They sounded pretty good and for how small the sub was it put out pretty good.
