Default Sorry Hard drive question also.

I have a hard drive question too. I was looking at two hard drives. I'm pretty sure they're both Seagate's. The one is 5400rpm the other is 7200rpm. How much of a difference does this make in preformace. I know a few people who had the 5400 and the first thing they did when they got the commputer was put in a 7200 rpm hard drive. Is it really that important and does it have any effect on gaming?
