Sooo I7 it is, but now a new question!

IBuyPower Computer :: Intel Core i7 Configurator

This is the system I'm taking a look at right now for gaming. I'm fairly satisfied with it right now but I'm not so sure about the video card(s)

Currently it is set to x2 GeForce 9800GT 1GB video cards in SLI mode. I could get the GTXs instead or perhaps look into ATI's cards. Or perhaps a single GTX 280 would perform better than two lesser SLI mode cards? Does anyone have any input on this?


Also any other suggestions about other components are appreciated as well I'm the first to admit I'm not as knowledgeable as many people on here.

As always I appreciate any insight you can offer.

Do you have no desire to build your own?

Don't buy prebuilt. Build it. You will have more contorl over the parts and will save on costs.

Wow $1659... overpriced man, you could get two HD 4870's instead of 9800gt's if you built it yourself.. plus you'd have better quality stuff like PSU, case etc

And also ahve saved some money!
