nope my system was cheaper and will be the better performer in the end. with a budget like yours building is the way to go it isn't you just plug the right part in the right hole you dont have to solder any wires it is really simple.

As stated earlier, since you have a rather large budget, Intel Core 2 is the ONLY choice.... I have to admit that I am an AMD fanboy, but right now, the C2D is the BEST thing out there.

Why do you want to get 6000+ ??? !!!!!!!

You can get E6600 for the same price - Intel Core 2 Duo E6600 Conroe 2.4GHz 4M shared L2 Cache LGA 775 Processor - Retail
