yea, but if he is using the old case then he won't be able to fit an ATX psu in it... those older ones only had Matx psu's in them.. but who knows as of yet what he's gonna do. or what he's got already?

I am currently under consideration of purchasing a case to go along with it and using the case PSU since he does not game and any type of video he gets will either be integrated or a VERY cheap GPU. I will be salvaging the optical drive at the least, and I may just upgrade the current PSU with a 420W I got wih my current case but don't need because I got a 500 W Antec.

Are all the Micro ATX motherboard jumper settings for HDD light and the like the same? I noticed the jumpers are idfferent on my Mobo than on his probably because mine is a full ATX and his is micro correct?
