slow second hd

my second hd (western digital 160 gig, partitioned to abut 60/50/50 now one of the 50 gig is dedicated to games, but ive noticed since its about 35 gig of it is used up its getting really slow loading games (cod2 doom3) were talking around a minute or 2, but after the initial load, it works fine whats going on? the drives are regularly defragged and everything i just cant figure it out

all drives defragged, including OS and whatever partition your swapfile is on? do the usual spyware and antivirus scans and see if anything comes up as well

ya thats all done, no viruses spyware nothing, its just COD2 which has been working fine then it started to take longer and longer to load. i uninstalled and reinstalled it and still it doesnt f-ing work, im going to lite my second hd and cod2 on fire soon... the only game i play and i doesnt work anymore wtf
