hrmm i'm setting up a computer on cyberpowersystem.com, and i wanted to know if i have to get the same exact 7800 gt.. or can i get one like a bfg, and the other a evga... cuz i just wanted to buy the comp with one 7800 gt in it, and just buy another 7800 gt later... so would i have to get the same exact thing.... cuz if so, i don't even know what kinda 7800 they use because its not specified on the site

i'm not entirely sure. i'm pretty sure they have to be the same and if not you'll be far better off with 2 identical cards anyway

I think the new drivers allow for different brands but not different chips.

I heard that the new drivers will be able to mix and match differetn sizes memory, but when someone tried it, it didnt work. Though i bet you can mix and match brands, just try to get the same speeds

hrmm i think i may be changing my mind again.. i'm so indecisive when it comes to spending this kinda money... new egg seems like a better choice, i can use their pay later option, and that really catches my attention, and its a cheaper than getting it built from another company ... just scared of ruining everything...
