Sli Or No

i have been given surgesstions on gettin the 7950gt and the 7900gs. so i was wonderin if i should buy one of the 7950gt or get 2 and go sli with the 7900gs?

Sli or no: no

in my humble opinion SLI is not worth it unless you are looking at two top end cards i.e. 2x8800GTXs because it's the only way to get any higher performance.

I think the only thing SLI can give you is, to play at high resolutions. But it's still not worth it. You pay alot more for not much of a performance increase.

No, as Nitestick stated, the only way it is worth it to go SLi is if you have DEEP pockets, and can go with 2x 8800GTX's. If you get say 2x 7900's or 7950's, you are going to be paying in the neighborhood of a 8800 card, and in all the benchmarks I have seen, the SINGLE 8800 card will dominate all.
