Default SLI connecter help

Hi

I have two nvidia graphics cards that are of the same model, gpu, ect and I am intending on hooking them up with SLI. My question is, when looking for an SLI connecter should I be aware of any incompatibilities or do they all work?

I am want to pair two nvidia 7800 GTX's

Thanks
