Hi,

I have an old dell (don't know how old, looks like its at least 4-5 years old, and judging by the size of the hard drive it may be older... its a dimension L800R) that I would like to use as a server for my office. It has something like 5 GB in it right now, 391 MB RAM, and its a p2 800mHz. We're a non-profit organization and all the computers were donated, so naturally none of them are very good. For instance, the computer I'm currently using has something like 200 mHz.

At any rate, I have two questions. First, how would I configure the computer network to make it so that a computer would act as a server (so that all the other computers in the network would be able to access it, save files on it, etc.)?

Second, can a 120 GB harddrive be installed as a slave on a 5 GB harddrive? It seems to me that the computer wattage may not be sufficient to hold such a large drive.

Thank you!

-Brendon
