side panel case fan

Quick question, is it a bad idea to place a fan directly in front of the HSF(in place of the wind tunnel)? It would be placed on the side panel of the case and it blows air towards the HSF

I don't see any problem with that, it's not gonna hurt anything. Put it on and if your temps go down then great. If they go up then take it off.

I've heard that it would interfere with the fan speed of the HSF so I wasn't sure
