Exclamation Should I have bought a Intel 2 Quad Processor?

Okay, so I've ordered this laptop from Dell - an Inspiron 1545 - with an Intel Dual-Core Processor @ 2.2 GHz (and Windows 7 - 64 bit)

Now a friend of mine told me, that I made a big mistake, I should have bought a computer with a Intel Quad Processor or even an i5/i7... because the Core Duo Processors will be outdated soon and with an i5 e.g. my computer would last much longer (because Dell doesn't let you upgrade - it's almost impossible)

So do you think I'll be okay (if you see for a long-period of time) or do you think I should return my Dell and get a computer with a better processor?

Thanks a lot guys!

You will be fine, quad core processors on laptops are relatively new.
