Is there anything I can or should add to make this system faster & better for under $100 ?? I will be doing everything with this computer but I am not a gamer.
 
You could bump the ram up to 1024 with an extra stick of 512

That is usually always a fine performance upgrade

Also I'm not sure if DVDs or music is important but you can probably get some decent speakers for $100 like basic 5.1 surround sound
