Default Scam advice

Okay, so a few friends of mine recommended the following to me. They registered at the link I will put below, and said withing between three weeks (for one) to two months (for the another), they got a free laptop from taking one offer, and a ten-person referral pyramid scheme. Just the phrase "pyramid scheme" should set off alarms. However, they actually got theirs, and for my one offer, there was a decent credit card that i used to consolidate. I figured what the heck.

My questions are the following:
Does anyone know about how long these schemes will last after the first batch of people sign up? How legit are the companies offering them, in particular the one below?

And of course, if you wanna help me out, and have the need, please follow this link:

Usually these things are just to advertise and you never get anything back.
