I have never seen a SATA hard drive less than 80 Gig. That doesn't mean that they don't exist.

My question to you is why would you want such a small-capicity drive?

i was thinking of attempting to put osx on it. either that, or just use it as a dedicated linux drive, instead of using partitions.

you wouldnt need 80 for that, but they i so cheap i suppose i may as well get an 80.

There are some Raptors that are that small, but they are still as expensive as some 200gb hard drives, so I'd say get a 80gb hard drive. They can be found for about $30-40 easily. Outpost usually has really nice hard drive deals every week, but I can't find any this week. Check Fatwallet, DealOverflow, or SlickDeals.
