sata hard drive appears as removable

I have recently built a system and am wondering why the hard drive appears as a removable drive instead as a permenant one? thanks to anyone that can help

Try, control panel > Admin Tools > Computer Management > Disk Management.

See if you can fix it there, (Right click on the drives below.)

sata is hot swappable it suppost to be that way , if you dont wanna see the icon then goto start-->settings-->taskbar and start menu and check "hide inactive icons" and click "customize" find "safely remove hardware" and set it to "always hide"
