plug it into the Sata ports, if you have them. If not, you may have gotten the wrong interface. You need one of those skinny red SATA cables. If you don't have one, you'll be needing one.

sorry to bug in some one elses tread. But the topic is sata

I notised that my mobo asus A7V600 have grey sata cabels
but the new mobo i got for my bros upgrade asus A8N-E
got red ones like u describe here.

Is it the same. or is mine sata "older" than the one with red cabels.
