Hi,
i'm currently searching the market for a SSD and so far i have found out that SATA 3 SSD's are just a bit more expensive than SATA 2 SSD's and this: ASRock > Products > SATA3 Card
There are a few things that i'm not sure about. First of all, will this be able to give me the full speed of the SSD? On the website it's stated that a pci-e 2.0 is recommended but my motherboard (gigabyte ga-p43t-es3g) only has pci-e 1.0 . How much could this decrease performance? Will it still be much faster than a SATA 2 SSD? And second, i'm worried about the reliability of a asrock card on my gigabyte motherboard, although i've read reviews where they say that it fits and works without a problem.
Thanks in advance
