I use a Razer Lachesis... very nice mouse. But, so are all of the Razer mice. The Death Adder is an earlier version and it highly recommended around here as well. Others include the Copperhead and the Diamondback. The Krait is a stripped down version of the Diamondback, and the Salmosa is their new low-end gaming mouse. Razer's mice are for either right or left handed people, as they are symmetrical.

Logitech mice are very popular here, too. I'm not too familiar with the model numbers of those as I don't own any of them. The Logitech mice are made for right-handed folks, molded to fit the right hand.

For some, any laser mouse will do.

If you are a finger mouser (use your fingers to move the mouse), Razer is the way to go. If you are a hand mouser (move your entire forearm to move the mouse), Logitech will be perfect for you.

My Razer Diamondback was fairly inexpensive and has performed excellently.
