AMD has something in the works for its enthusiast CPU market...
Return of AMD FX processors within two years
I hope they are successful, we need something to challenge intel's monopoly of high range CPU's! 2 years is a long time, but better late than never!

Hopefully this amounts to something, what do you guys think?

2 years is a long damn time and IMO after what happened with ****dozer I don't have my hopes up. Actually they get a big yawn from me. I have a feeling the performance the new processor (if it comes) will be relevant today and old news when it comes out.

I'll also take this with a big grain of salt because none of this was shown on their roadmap. Only APUs made with ARM cores.
