Default registering

I have my ex's name as the registration for our dell computer and now my wife wants her name off of everything .. is there a way I can do this without having to re-install windows since I no longer have the disks?

why did u make another thread... this isn't even the right place....

but the easiest way (backup first) is to go into Regedit, and anything that has her name on it, edit it to something else..

Windows Key + R, in the dialog box hit regedit.

Since you don't know how to get to regedit its a safe bet you don't know how to backup So.. hit File > Export > choose a place..
