I already had those chipset drivers.

Those ethernet ones are for Intel network cards I think. It says that it cannot install them, because there are no Intel PRO adapters present in this computer.

So it's not picking the NIC up or you can't find the right drivers?
I'm slightly confused here :S.

What model of hp is it?? Just because it is an intel 865 doesn't mean it has the pro adaptor (alot do and I just took a guess) So lets get the model number and look it up. And if you would have installed it with hp tools all the drivers are preinstalled.
