Recommend a good motherboard/ram for this setup?

Hello all, can someone recommend me a reasonable motherboard. Trying to stay at or under $100. I'm probably not going to overclock, but it may be an option down the road. Here's what I currently have....

AMD X2 3800
EVGA GEFORCE 7800GT PCIE (Have not actually purchased yet)
250GB Western Digital SATA 2
Audigy 2 ZS
Lite-on DVD
450 Watt Rosewill PSU (hoping this will work, hate to spend more money)
Considering this for Ram:

I hate to sound like a noob, but what's Firewire? I notice the reviews say the board does not have it, and since I don't know what it is I obviously don't use it or need it currently. Is this something to be concerned with in the future?

Someone also said you may need PATA to SATA dongles. What did they mean by that? I have my SATA drive and just want to be sure I won't need any extra hardware.

Firewire is a highspeed connection... similar to USB.. It is ususally used to connect to external hard drives, optical drives, and video camera's. I haven't ever used Firewire, and am not familiar with the technical specs as far as transfer speed, etc. etc.

PATA - IDE... ATA100 drives. The big ribbon cable. If you have SATA drives, then you are golden unless you have more than 4.
