Default rebuilding computer for my wife

I have a hp 760n computer that my wife want to use for the sims2. It has 2gig of pc3200 ram, a 1.8gig pentium 4 processor and a 120 gig hd. i cannot get a larger gamecard than the 128mb nvidia that i already have because the power supply is only 200 watts and I cannot find a powersupply that will fit in the case. My question is can I remove all of the "guts" and put them in a larger case with a larger powersupply? And will it damage anything if I do? Thanks.

Hello,

The form factor for the HP 760n desktop PC is Micro ATX (M-ATX).

You shouldn't have any trouble finding a PSU that will fit into your current case.

Apparently the PSU is proprietary, which is not uncommon on older HPs.

If you go with a new case that comes with a PSU, be sure to get a good quality one. Many here can make good recommendations for you. I suggest Antec, Thermaltake, CoolerMaster, and Apevia.
