Really Bad Feedback on Mic...

K whenever I use my mic on teamspeak or Vent, others get really bad feedback. Basically, when I use my mic, they hear me plus whatever I am hearing. I play alot of games so this causes alot of trouble. What I figure is happening is the lines for talking and hearing are mixed, but the Control Panel for the sound card has so many, options, I don't know what to do.

My sound card is Turtle Beach Santa Cruz

The computer in general is a Dell Dimension 8200 with no onboard sound

feedback is caused when your microphone picks up the sound from your speakers and goes into a loop of sound. turn down your gain, and move your speakers back a little and turn them down. whatever game your playing probably has a place to test your levels in the options or settings.

Im not using a set of speakers...I'm using a headset...and it does not matter which headset I use. I have bought 3 different kinds by different makers to fix it with no luck
