well, the major corporations don't usually use a full version of an OS, they usually don't give you a CD either, just come pre-installed with tons of useless junk so they don't really pay for the OS either. (The advertisement fee for the junk pays for the OS)

I always thought they would pay a one time fee like Windows Office Enterprise. Maybe I'm just thinking of how a corporation gets an OS for their company and transfer from pc to pc within the company.
