You might have issues if you can't set the RAM speed manually in the bios to 667. The Corsair is the same price almost so just get those.

ECC/buffered is for servers. It's error checking and not needed on desktops.

They are the same but the Ebay kit is more expensive. Why not just get them from Scan?
