Angry RAM trouble

Hey people I was looking and I think my motherboard can only take 1GB sticks or ram and not 2. I just want to be sure this is correct because getting a 2GB stick would really solve a lot of my problems. My board I think is a little fu*ked :-( it will not allow me to have 2 sticks of ram in at once for some reason. Now this never used to be a problem and I have tried the 2 old 512 sticks of ram that used to work but still same problem. The computer dose not load just a lot of beeping :-( anyone any idea’s?

Default Re: RAM trouble

Did you look up the meaning of the beep code in the motherboard manual?

Have you checked to see if they're the same speed? It could also be a faulty RAM.
