I'm only 15 and my dad is pretty computer illiterate so I'll do my best to explain what I need.
Ok, basically I want to upgrade my laptops Ram to 1gb so I can play games that I want too.
However Im very confused if weather you can purchase a diffrent company manufactures Ram and put in your computer? My computers make doesn't manufacture ram, or I yet to find them.
Here's what my properties say:
Expansion 1 slot of 200pin SO-DIMM DDR module, expandable up to 1GB system memory
Support DDR 266/333/400 module.
I've read that guys guide to ram but that doesn't really help also looked at the comps manual and doesn't help.
