Ok guys heres the deal, I made the mistake of ordering parts for my computer before coming to these forums. So, I have a question.
When I ordered my RAM i didn't understand what ECC or un/registered meant and I still don't. Do these things cause huge performance differences? Can somone please explain it to me?

Can somone recommend some decent ram for ~80 dollars?

EDIT: should've been more specific, I need DDR 400 (PC 3200)

Honestly, dunno bout ECC and such, but I think most standard is non ECC and CAS of 2.5 and nonregistered, but could be wrong.

I just have 2x512 (1gb) of Corsair Value Select RAM (ddr400) and its just at $80.

ECC and registered ram is for servers and stuff like that

for basic home users you go with Non ECC and unregistered :)
