Hi!

My secondary Rig:

Gigabyte GA-K8VM800M (MATX - 2GB RAM supported)
AMD 64 Sempron 2800 (OC to 1.83GHz)
PNY GeForce FX5200 128MB AGP
256MB DDR 400 PC3200 @ 459.6 (more, RAM on the way)
Antec TruePower 430W

The max Multiplier is 8

I can do 8 x 230

The BIOS does not have an option to change the RAM divider. Is there another utility that I can use? Of is there a way to unlock the option?

Thanks for your time.

sorry i have no personal experience with the motherboard so i can't tell you if it supports it or not. what i can tell you is that memory dividers require hardware on the motherboard. so if your motherboard does not have that hardware then you can't get around it. if it does then there may be some software like clock generators, a way to unlock it in BIOS or a hacked BIOS version. if not then you are out of luck. unfortunately i would guess that it probably does not have dividers given it is a fairly low end GigaByte board.

edit: i can now officially enter the ranks of those with way too much spare time :D 5000 posts
