Default which ram?

i was wondering if anyone could guide me towards the 'best' 1GB stick of RAM

EDIT: i was also wondering if all RAM works with all motherboards

It depends on what you want. (overclocking, stock, interface...)

There are different kinds of memory for systems (ddr, ddr2, rdram, xdram...)

i've only heard rumours of such a thing.. and it wouldn't be released till THE YEAR TWO THOUSAND.
