RAID arrays when windows is already installed?

This weekend im buying some more hdds (like maybe 2, 320GB disks) and i already have windows xp installed on an 80GB disk that i want to keep in there. I dont want to uninstall windows.
I have been looking around the net and all the tutorials just explain how to set up raid when u are installing windows.
So does anyone know if it is possible to install raid without installing windows
has anyone done it
has a nyone seen anyone do it?
any help wood be appreciated....

You can install raid without installing an OS on it.

Just build the array in the BIOS. Make sure you install the RAID drivers in Windows > then go into the hardware manager and format the array.
