Ive also been looking at those graphics cards, what is wrong with the ATI x1600 series Will it play oblivion without lag?

My computer
CPU: AMD Athlon 64 3200+
GPU: Ge-Force 6600LE 256DDR
DVD: 16X duel layer burner

the 7800go is better but the ati x1600 is pretty decent.

well if it sfor PC, Minimum 6600GT, that can play any new game on fair graphics... CSS not a prob, i would buy a GeForce 7600GT to be honest... rated as best performance to price ration and very overclockable.

whats wrong with the whole x1xxx series up to pretty much the x1800xt is that they are not very good value for playing games. they are much better at video encoding and suchlike.
i would choose an x800 GTO or similar over an x1600 any day for FPS roughly the same price as well. dont know anything about the laptop side though

I am currently trying to buy a laptop and i was wondering what are some good cards that could play css medium to high settings.
Time passes, will you?

Possibly on lowest settings.

I would say get a X850XT or 6800GS
